The Thunderbirds partake in the United States Premier Hockey League and join seven other teams as part of the 2020-21 Western Expansion.  Led by Team President; John Marks the team will look to play the first half of their season at City National Arena before transitioning over to the new Lifeguard Arena during the second-half of their season.  

The Las Vegas Thunderbirds feature provide local athletes the opportunity to play Junior level hockey.  The program serves as a destination for players who are actively seeking to advance their play to reach the collegiate level. Their team colors are black, orange, and white.
