COACHES ICE 

A program designed to give student's a more personal experience training with a Vegas Jr. Golden Knights coach.

City National Arena has made the switch to electronic waivers and require ALL skating participants to have one filled out before getting on the ice. To avoid any additional wait times, the waiver is available online. ALL MINORS will need to have a waiver signed by a parent. Each skater will need to check in at the front desk to receive a hand stamp to signify which skate they are participating in, and the stamps can be checked by any skate guard or arena staff at any time.

VJGK COACHES ICE

WHAT:

Coaches Ice is designated only for hockey coaches within the Vegas Jr. Golden Knights program to work with students on a 1-to-1 basis.  The training ice will allow for students to work with a coach from within our club on specific aspects of their game.  The ice will be shared equally among the coaches who are offering training to students of all ages.

Training equipment will be available to the coaches at their leisure.  Nets, pucks, bumpers, cones, stickhandling aids – the coaches know where the equipment is and will customize their lesson plan to your needs.

HOW:

The student must first connect with their coach and confirm the coaches availability to attend a session.  Then, the student must pre-purchase the ice time via the link on this webpage. This will show up as "VJGK Coaches Ice".

Upon arrival to City National Arena, the student must first check-in with the arena’s front counter to retrieve a Coaches Ice sticker that must be worn on the outside of the student’s jersey to show proof of payment.  The cost for admission is $15 dollars for all student participants.  Any additional fees that are incurred must be handled directly between the student and the coach.   

Each session, the coaches will arrive early and discuss with other coaches how the ice will be designated and shared equally based on their student’s needs.  

WHO:

Student’s who are interested in working with a Vegas Jr. Golden Knights coach must make arrangements ahead of time with their coach.  Students must be accompanied on ice by an approved coach. Aside from providing the month’s ice schedule, City National Arena is not responsible for scheduling the coaches’ availability. Any and all training session arrangements must be discussed ahead of time between the student and the coach.

All coaches must be on an active roster within the Vegas Jr. Golden Knights travel program.  Any and all other coaches will not be permitted to use this training ice.
